These terms explain how Eye for Design handles orders, design approval, payment and production. Please read them before confirming an order.

By placing an order or approving a quotation, you acknowledge these terms. Nothing here limits any rights you have under applicable South African law.

1. Payment and deposits

Full payment is required upfront before work or production begins, unless alternative terms have been discussed and approved in writing. Approved deposit arrangements will be stated on the invoice. Work will commence once the agreed initial payment has been received.

2. Quotations and changes

Quotations are valid for the period stated on them. Changes to quantities, specifications, materials or the agreed scope may affect the price and completion date. Additional costs will be communicated for approval before the additional work proceeds.

3. Artwork approval

Customers must carefully check spelling, names, dates, contact details, colours, sizes, layout and other supplied information before approving artwork. Eye for Design is not responsible for errors in details the customer has approved. Changes requested after approval may incur extra charges and delay production.

4. Cancellations and order changes

Once production has started, an order may not be cancellable or changeable because materials may have been used or work completed. Requests made before production will be assessed against work already completed and costs reasonably incurred. Any cancellation charges remain subject to applicable law and consumer rights.

5. Returns, defects and refunds

Personalised or custom-made items cannot be returned simply because of a change of mind or an error in customer-approved artwork. This does not affect rights relating to defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods under applicable law. Please contact us promptly with your order details and, where possible, photographs so the issue can be assessed and an appropriate remedy arranged.

6. Production and delivery

Completion dates are estimates unless a date has been expressly agreed in writing. Supplier delays, stock availability, delivery services and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect timing. Collection, delivery fees and delivery arrangements will be as agreed for the order.

7. Customer-supplied content

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have permission to use logos, photographs, artwork, fonts and other materials they supply. Eye for Design may decline material that appears unlawful or likely to infringe another party’s rights.

8. Design files and intellectual property

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the price covers the specified final product or deliverable, not editable source files, working files or unused design concepts. Ownership and permitted use of supplied or created artwork remain subject to the quotation, any separate written agreement and applicable law.

9. Questions and complaints

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if you have a concern about an order. Include your invoice or order number and relevant details so we can investigate and work towards a fair resolution.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of South Africa. They do not exclude or limit any consumer rights, remedies or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
